Formerly known as X7 Productions, Studio VII is an independent motion picture company devoted to bold cinematic storytelling, original worlds, and visually striking films. Built around an in-house creative pipeline spanning production, editing, visual effects, sound design, and post-production, Studio VII was created to bring ambitious stories to life with scale, atmosphere, and a distinct visual identity.

Founded by writer and director Neil Karunatilaka, Studio VII is the creative home for original films including The Obelisk, The Serpent’s Snare, and The Last Breath, all currently in pre-production.

Audiences can also experience The Prologue, a director’s treatment and visual showcase offering an early look at the tone, scope, and cinematic vision behind Studio VII’s developing slate.
